Here is an outstanding oak buffet with curved side doors and wonderful turned spindles and cut thru carving holding up the top shelf. I cannot describe the style of this piece, but look at all the detail that is on this buffet. The top crown has actual carved in carving . The top shelf is held up by a series of turned spindles on the top and pierced thru carving on the bottom. The entire buffet is trimmed in 3/8 inch ball trim. The three center drawers are all well made with no secondary wood and have large original brass hardware. To top off everything, the buffet is flanked on each side by curved quartersaawn oak doors. This is classic victorian era...golden oak period buffet with the locks patent dated 1886. This piece has excellent construction thruout indicating a high quality maker such as Grand Rapids, Michigan.
