Offering this lovely vibrant lap quilt / wall hanging made of pretty white on white print cotton with the Grandmas Fans pattern made in a variety of vintage style prints in red and white. There are polka dots and harliquin diamonds, each fan is trimmed in red bias. The inner border is a multi shade red hand spray fabric. The outer border is a red and white vine print. Backing is solid white muslin. The fans are stitched in the ditch; the white background is cross hatch stitched. The outer border is stitched with a lovely flowing feathered leaf. Quilt measures 51 inches wide x 67 inches long; new condition. All fabrics are 100% quilt shop quality cotton. Batting is 80% cotton 20% polyester. This quilt was designed and machine pieced by me. Machine quilted by our local quilt shop, here in Ohio U.S.A.. It comes with a hanging sleeve on the back and a provenance label of history - I have named this one Aunt Ruby's Red Fans. A beautiful quilt for snuggling, display on your favorite couch or a very dramatic wall hanging.
