Faience Egyptian ushabti of good deep turquoise glaze, modeled in the form of Osiris, holding hoes for work in the afterlife, wearing a beard and tripartite wig. The front, sides and back inscribed with Royal Hierogyphics & multiple horizontal bands of hieroglyphic text. 4in. H. Ex Sayed Molattam included original export certificate. Fine style. Intact with no repairs. Circa 1500 BC 18th Dynasty. Acquired in the 1920s in Egypt.
