For the discerning collector of mid-20th century jewelry I offer this fabulous necklace designed by Willy Winnaess for David-Andersen. A company established in 1876 in Oslo Norway. He designed for them in the 1950's. Many of his leaf pieces are just in sterling but the addition of the gold vermeil truly makes this piece stand out. Due to the age many of the pieces on the market have condition issues but this was very well cared for. There are no chips or crazing of the enamel and the vermeil shows no signs of wear. It is in excellent vintage condition aside from a small amount on tarnish on the backs that I will polish off if you wish. It is marked with the scale sign, D-A for David-Anderson, 925S and Sterling and has the hallmark of the W in a circle which is Willy Winnaess's mark. It is 16" long and the leafs are 1/2" tall and weighs 25.3g. A wonderful addition to your collection or a great holiday gift.
