Fabulous Oak Side by Side Secretary/Desk/Bookcase
This is one of the finest oak Side by Side I have had in 31 years of business!! Circa: 1890's-1905. It measures 45" wide by 28" deep by 77" tall. It has all the bells and whistles! On the right side there is a shaped mirror (new replacement, shelf for candle, etc. on each side of the mirror. There are lovely applied carvings on the drop lid, around the mirror and at the top. The lid drops down to reveal one drawer and compartments for files, etc. Beneath the desk area are three serpentine drawers with brass (Reproduction) handles. On the left side at the top is a small curved glass door (original glass), with a straight glass on each side. This would be a great place to display a special treasure! Beneath that there is a large curved glass door with 3 original wooden adjustable shelves. There are working locks and keys on both doors and the drop lid.
