THIS BUTTERFLY WINGS PAINTING IS AN INCREDIBLY RARE TREASURE
IT BELONGED TO KING FAROUK OF EGYPT,
CONDITION OF BUTTERFLY PAINTING: EXCELLENT. SUPERB.
MEASUREMENTS: 21 inches diameter.
DESCRIPTION: Painting is arranged as a circle of circular vignettes'
with Butterlies painted with Butterfliy Wings alternating
between the vignettes, and a central parrot also painted
with butterfly wings. Painting is on mahogany and
protected under glass.
(This painting may be hung on a wall or as a table. It fits onto a base
made of Mimosa or Monkey-Pod Wood. This wood species develops
some thin splits when acclimating to a different type of climate, but it is
strong and sturdy).
