The clock case has been completely cleaned and restored by a professional clock restorer in Europe.The clock case is made of the finest walnut and the patina is outstanding!The carvings are marvelous with a cherub head below!!Even the inside of the case is made of the most beautiful walnut!!The movement is a 8-days bronze movement and driven by 1 weight, so it has no chimes.The porcelain dial and the steel handmade hands are gorgeous and in perfect condition. Around the dial is a bronze ring,the so called bride garland what is very Unique!!No matter where you hang this clock everyone will be begging to know where you got such an outstanding piece and where they can get one like it!But believe me that will be difficult!These old clocks are getting so hard to come by these days- especially in such lovely condition!
