This fantastic clock came out a very important estate in the South of Germany near the Black Forest !!The clock is made of the finest walnut and decorated with many gorgeous bronze ornaments like woman heads and lion heads!!Even the brass pendulum is carved with a beautiful swan !!The brass dial with the porcelain ring and the handmade steel hands are gorgeous!!The clock has a 8 days movement and is in fine working order.The chime is on an old spring gong and strikes every half and full hour.The 8 days bronze movement is stamped on the back plate with the logo of Kienzle and the numerals " 267496".The Kienzle clock factory was founded in 1822 in Schwenningen-Germany and was very famous at that time.No matter where you hang this clock everyone will be begging to know where you got such an outstanding clock and where they can get one like it! But believe me that will be difficult! It is getting extremely hard to find these high end antique wall clocks in this perfect condition!
