One of a kind Necklace with Extra Large Opalized Ammonite Fossil with Chinese Coin, Vintage African Trade Beads, and gold faceted beads.
In between section of black seed beads I made little cross pieces of 6 tiny gold plated cut glass beads. Supporting the 45 mm x 35mm opalized ammonite is an old modified oxidized Chinese coin . Then at the bottom I have a bonze ring with a dangle in keeping the beads above. If you look closely you can see the red fire of the opalization. It also has 5 very old serrated black " dogs tooth" African trade beads that are either glass or carved stone, two at either side joining the the chain to the bead work. Two more, one on each side of the coin. And one at the bottom as part of the extra dangle. The chain is gold tone or brass and it has a gold plated lobster clasp The drop length of the piece is 14.75" and this can be adjusted by using the large links of the chain. The condition is excellent and recently created and designed by myself . The components of the wonderful necklace are all from vintage and estate pieces that I have collected other the years with the exception of the ammonite which I recently bought at a gem show. Plus the stringing material is new. It is knotted throughout to insure sturdiness.Solas
