This is an exquisite Antique French mahogany and gilt wood day bed, the panelled ends with a baton surmount above column supports with leaf capitals, the curved sides with gorgeous fan spandrels and applied florets, the whole in wonderful flame mahogany. It dates from the late 19th Century and is Circa 1870 in date.
