Walter Browning: The Slave's Protector Founded on Fact, Cincinnati: American Reform Tract and Book Society. 1856, First Edition. 88 page book measures 4 1\4"X6" in fair condition with embossed cloth, loose, with foxing throughout and some tears. Book contains several engravings including a slave auction. This is a very rare work. Only a few copies of this book are known to exist and most are held in institutional hands. This is clearly an anti-slavery work, in the fashion of its contemporary publication, UNCLE TOM'S CABIN.
