When oak furniture was considered "poor peoples furniture", walnut, rosewood, and mahogany pieces were highly prized by the wealthy and influential.  American Victorian furniture c.1837-1901, is some of the most beautiful furniture ever hand made in our country. An etagere is a piece of light furniture made in France during the latter part of the 18th century.  It consists of a series of stages or shelves for the reception of ornaments or other small articles.. Examples in exotic woods are exceedingly graceful and elegant.     ~From our North Texas hauler comes this gorgeous Classic Mahogany Victorian Etagere.  With a beautiful newly made oval beveled mirror this piece has been gently restored so that it retains its beautiful patina.  Use it in that special place where you wish to display elegant items.  You'll enjoy it for many years to come!
