This English Vintage Art Deco Style Quarter Sawn Tiger Oak Sideboard/Buffet, circa 1950, could certainly be used in just about every room of the home or office. Constructed out of beautiful quarter sawn tiger oak, the sideboard/buffet has the fusion of geometric patterns and the sleek, bold designs so characteristic of the Art Deco or Art Moderne period, with a low profile backsplash and straiightt-line features that seem to morph into the curved drawer fronts, curved skirt and geometric feet. The sideboard/buffet has the original decorative bronze plated hardware, cupboard space with wooden shelves, the original sectional felt-lined silverware top drawer and three drawers below, so there is plenty of storage space.
