This is an absolutely beautiful hand made doily or tray cloth I brought home from England recently. A wonderful example of the victorian woman's skill at needlework, this piece of linen has a 2 inch crocheted thread border and the body is embellished with faggoting and satin stitch work. It is in very good condition with only a tiny spatter of brown flecks in one coner about 1 inch in diameter. Fabulous!
