English Rosewood Game Table
Antique English Rosewood envelope game table that also functions as a side table.. Very fine intricate inlay of ivory and satinwood to the top and drawer plus light vertical inlay on the legs. When you open all four leafs it is a square game table with a felt top and four cubbies for chips etc. To expand you lift the top a half and inch and turn, one of the leafs protrudes upward and give you the opportunity to open all four leafs. The table has one drawer with brass pulls and a lower inlay shelf & stretcher gallery. The upper moldings are ebony and the legs have porcelain castors at the feet. This antique table is outstanding quality and very fine workmen ship. The rosewood is highly figured and finished in a French polish.
