You are viewing a gorgeous English Regency bookcase in walnut. I hope the photos do this stunning piece some justice, it's certainly more impressive in the flesh and would make a wonderful addition to any home interiors scheme. The bookcase is nearly 8 feet tall so it's a large item. The top half is glass fronted and lined with fabric so great for displaying all your collectibles and books. The bottom half has doors and further storage space. The crafting on this piece is superb - it's solid and sturdy, the finish to the wood is amazing, scratch and ding free. It's a sumptuous piece in need of a good home. To the wood is some intricate inlay work in the shape of the cross banding and arabesques. There are also some intricate ormolu fixtures including the classical female heads on the columns and the cartouches. We bought this from a dealer on London's Kings Road and will ship to anywhere in the world. It is offered in great shape and will make a great investment for your home.
