This is a pot lid by James Kent of Longton England depicting the Cornfield Amsterdam, Holland from a painting by the artist Constable made during the 1950s for a series in tribute to famous British artists. Pot lids were originally made as the covers of jars or pots of various substances from salves to food stuffs. This pot lid is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. Very attractive and collectible!
