Unusual mahogany Edwardian coffee or side table from England C.19th century has a removable oval hand painted papier mache tray with lip as the interior table top. Black background with gilt edging along the lip and oval sides. Colorful and well executed bouquet of pastel flowers in the center. Beautiful graining to the mahogany deep apron and grooved outlining on the legs. Cross support bars have kept this small table in perfect condition. Stands on 4 brass wheels.Apron is notched out on either side to resemble handles. Excellent size for a coffee table when space is limited or a side table for any occasion.
