English Hand Painted Footed Wine Cooler

Unavailable

Antique English or French Empire style Porcelain wine cooler holder, with faux handles and lion's head. . 9" high and 8.5" in diameter, this porcelain piece is flawless. A cottage painted scene is quaint considering this was made for a higher income person. Unlike most 19th porcelain, a wine cooler is as practical today as it was then. since most people could not afford these, there are not a lot of them around. This is hand painted and there is wear to the gold highlighting, particularly on the rim. There is very minor discoloration to the inside of the cooler. The color of the paintings, particularly the pink clouds, totally make this item!
