Large English 19th century brass door knocker with multi-tiered round brass plate and loop design. Complete with door knob style knocker plate. Small beaded design on the base of each. Long threaded bolt with heavy washer and stop on the knocker as well as bolt on the plate. Wonderful craftsmanship on the heavy pair,suitable for any castle or house. If the bolts are too long,any machine shop can easily cut and thread for a nominal fee. Has not been polished with years of aging to the patina yet would polish to a brighter shine if desired. Excellent condition otherwise. Measures 5H X 4.5L X 3D without bolt,7D with bolt. Knob plate,1.75H X 1.75L X 4.5 D projection with bolt.
