This lovely blue and white pottery cream or creamer and sugar set is sometimes called Devon ware and is a close kin to Torquay Devon, England mottoware made 1920-1930s. It has the incised name of a place, in this case Whitley Bay. The process is sometimes called scrafito or sgraphito. Each piece is approximately 2.5 inches high and is in good condition with no chips and the only flaw being a small tight hairline in the sugar that doesn't go through to the exterier. See photo. These sets are very collectible as well as decorative.
