Here is a sophisticated late art nouveau image from Pilkington's Tile & Pottery. The central floral image floats on a mint-celadon field. The tile is in excellent condition with light surface rubbing on several high points that is barely discernible; crazing as shown. (I have identified this tile as being from Pilkington's based upon the attribution of this back by Austwick to that firm, however, the back does not have the embossed "P" found on Pilkington's tiles and so I believe it is more likely a tile made by the Marsden Tile Co. Ltd--whichever frim made it it is a lovely nouveau design.) Please write with any questions you may have and thank you for viewing the tile.
