English Antique 1/4 Sawn Tiger Oak Hall Stand
This English Antique Quarter Sawn Tiger Oak Hall Stand, also referred to as a hall tree, circa 1910, is quite stunning, and would certainly be a great addition to a front entrance, hallway or living area. Constructed out of beautiful quarter sawn tiger oak, the hall stand has a lovely curved crown with a center cutout and two brass rods below, one with the original brass hooks. Beneath the original brass rods is the original oval shaped beveled mirror that is surrounded by incised decorative carvings and six original hat coat hooks. Below the rod is a petite drawer with the original brass knob that centers the original brass curved rods that hold the umbrellas. And, not to be forgotten, the original painted metal drip pans add the finishing touch, and allow water to collect without damaging one's floors. The English Antique Quarter Sawn Tiger Oak Hall Stand measures, 81.25 inches H X 45.00 inches W X 10.25 inches D, and is in the original finish with appropriate wear for its age.
