Beautiful antique enameled scenic top silver box. This could possibly be a snuff, pill box or may also have been designed as a calling card case. In any case this flat, narrow, coin silver box has a vibrant enameled scene of the Teatro Massimo. It is the grand opera house of Palermo and will be a great addition to any collection.

Stamped inside lid .800 as seen in photo.

Circa Mid-late 19th C.

MEASURES: 3 x 2 x 5/8 inches

This box displays very well and is in very good overall condition. No chips, dings, dents or repairs found. There is some wear from age and use. Very fine surface wear (which can only be seen with very strong light) and a very small bit of edge wear.
