This is a beautiful little relish basket in pressed crystal and cut with grapes, cherries and apples in the Intaglio style. The basket looks like the Heisey No. 500 Octagon pattern. The handle is attached with the same design of the Heisey baskets. The glass looks like Heisey and even fluoresces under black light. It is not marked and there is nothing in this shape mentioned in any of the Heisey books that I have. It’s just a gut feeling that maybe Heisey made this for some other retailer and it was cut by someone else. The cutting is deep in the intaglio style. The vines and branches are pressed into the body and the leaves and fruit are then cut into the glass. This tray is 5 inches tall to the top of the handle. The eight sided bowl is 7 inches long, 4 inches wide and 1-3/4 inches tall. The bottom is 5-1/2 inches long by 2-1/2 inches wide. It is a beauty little dish that would go well with the Heisey Octagon pattern. There are no chips, flakes or cracks. Shipping includes insurance. (DRT-A-XX81-G/E)
