EG Studio (attrib.): Woman with Basket of Fruit

$500.00
Quantity available: 1
This lovely pictorialist portrait comes from the collection of John Dick who was a salesman of photography supplies in Missouri and Kansas before World War I. The photograph comes from a group of images he used to demonstrate Kodak papers. The studio identification comes from similar photographs in the group which bear the moniker of an E within a G burned into the negative. Printed by John Dick, this print is an excellent example of 'the photograph as object'; the quality of the print itself is a joy to behold and its beauty cannot be adequately conveyed over the computer screen.
