Camel eel skin pocket secretary , check book cover or wallet from an Italian estate whose owner either never used or seldom as in excellent condition,stored for many years from early 1900's. Eel skin is 150% stronger than leather and should provide many years of wear. The interior right side has a full length pocket for check book or money,cards. Pouch in the center for a pen. Left side has a full length pouch for check registry or other and and additional pouch on the outside which is 3/4 length of the larger one . A note pad would fit nicely. Butter soft skin with stitching all around. The two tiny darker areas seen are part of the skin and not from wear,either scars,scratches or stretch marks on the eel. Measures 3 3/8H X 7L X 1/4 inch thick.
