A pretty dark emerald green glass hyacinth vase in a very unusual bulbous shape with double applied handles. Forcing hyacinths and other bulbs indoors was a popular Victorian pastime that lasted well into the 20th century. There are no mold marks, suggesting that the vase was hand-blown and marvered. Origin: America, ca. 1920. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks. Size: 6-5/8" tall; 6" diameter (including handles).
