A fine, heavy pair of Edwardian double-sided 18K gold and platinum cufflinks, the square faces with canted corners and ornate engine-turned engraving in a floral and striped pattern. The edges are finished with millgraining. These cufflinks are unusually heavy for their type because of the quite thick layer of platinum laid over the gold. The backs have an unknown maker’s mark (“GS”), American 18K marks and English import hallmarks dated 1927. Origin: America, ca. 1910. Condition: excellent, sharp detail. Size: 1/2" x 1/2”. Weight: 10.6 grams.
