This is a nice clean old multi-size adjustable hollow auger, missing the adjustable depth stop clamp. This is the earlier E.C. Stearns patented model, although their name stamp is somewhat filled in with old black Jappaning. This is a good quality sizing tool with an eight positition guide, a good sharp cutter with plenty of length, about 30% of the original Jappaning intact, no rust or pitting, no cracks, a good sharp cutter with plenty of length. A nice clean woodworking tool overall, ready to use!
