Beautifully engraved certificate from the Eastern Oregon Gold Mining Company issued in 1889. The certifcated was issued in England and has an English tax stamp affixed to its face. This historic document has an ornate border around it and is hand signed by the Companys Directors and Secretary. It is over 114 years old. Gold fever struck Eastern Oregon in the 1880s and this company raised money from overseas investors.
