This postcard pictures Eastern Air Lines "Great New Silver Falcon" which was touted as "The world's most advanced twin-engine airliner" of the time. It is in good condition with no tears, holes or folds. There is some corner rounding and blunting with some light creasing at both of the left corners, some flecks of surface paper loss at the corners and edges and a stain on the left side that looks much worse in the scan than in person. The Martin 4-0-4 was added to Eastern's "Great Silver Fleet" as the Silver Falcon in 1952. This Eastern airlines Silver Falcon postcard is numbered P-171 on the back and was not used.
