These very large glass button clip on earrings are quite lovely. I do not know what was used to put the gold highlights on with. It may be gold. It is still so bright. It has been rubbed off of the raised center a little bit. But seems to be intact over the rest of the button. The floral motif is nicely done. The clips are tight. They are approx. 1 1/2" across.
