Check out this unusual early pine country cabinet. Its design would serve a myriad of purposes. Imagine it as a server or sideboard in your dining room, a base for your big screen TV in the family room, a sink base for your bathroom or as a cabinet in your kitchen. The height to the serving area is 40”. The tall cut out shaped top has a shelf below above 5 small hand dovetailed drawers. Notice how the drawers are mortised into the shelf above. The base steps out and has a deep serving area. There are 3 hand dovetailed drawers below above 2 cabinet doors with recessed paneled fronts. The doors retain their original brass latches. The center recessed panel is stationary. Inside is one long shelf. The cabinet rests on tall shapely cut out feet. The cabinet has an older refinish, which is in excellent condition. There are some slight stains and marks on the shelf and serving areas, but these only add to its charm and appeal. What a unique, yet practical piece of early Americana.
