Early nineteenth century American thirty hour wood works tallcase clock, unsigned, attributed to Riley Whiting, Winchester, Connecticut, circa 1810. The pine and maple case is well proportioned with no finials having been fitted to this clock as evidenced by no holes ever being drilled in the plinths above. The mechanics are original to the case and the clock is in working order. The hands, weights, finish are all original. Original pewter hands.

Height: 87 3/4" (approx.), 17 1/2" width at the bonnet (widest point), 10 1/4" depth.
