Collection of early Football Programs from Martins Ferry High School. Most are from the late 1960s, however, one is from 1936 and another 1940. Game and dates are as follows: 11/7/1936 v. New Castle, 10/18/1940 v. Middlebourne, 11/1/1968 v. Bellaire, 11/8/68 v. Wintersville, 9/5/69 v. Linsly, 11/19/69 v. Bridgeport, 11/26/69 v. Wheeling, 10/3/69 v. Wellsville, 10/17/69 v. Triadelphia and 10/24/69 v. St. Johns. Programs are filled with line-ups and lots of local advertisements. The 60s Programs are in good/very good condition. One has some cover wear and another has a two inch edge tear along with chipped off edge. The 40 Program has a vertical crease down the center with pencil writing where the scorecard portion is located. Football Hall of Fame player Lou Groza is listed as a substitute. The 36 Program has nice team and individual photos from both teams as well as band photos. Lower spine edge is loose and lower right has a chipped off corner. Light staining along bottom edge but does not after the Program itself. Writing on the scorecard portion. Some cover wear. Programs would make a fine addition to any Ferry Football collection.
