Early Green Roseville Pitcher With Grapes

Unavailable
Early Roseville Pottery pitcher, measuring almost 9 inches high, in green with embossed grape cluster design on both sides and decorative top and bottom bands. This piece, made with heavy, thick clay, appears to be handmade and have an applied handle. It has a dry foot and imperfectly formed bottom. Condition is good to very good , solid, with no chips or cracks. There is a production defect where the underside of the top of the handle attaches to the body; the inside of the defect is glazed. There are a handful of other production flaws in the glaze and surface. The pitcher has inconsistent coloration, and glaze wear and crazing. It is still, however, an impressive piece. Shipping / packaging will be $10 - $15, based upon the zip code of the buyer.
