A great opal milk glass smoke bell for a hanging oil lamp. Probably made circa 1870's or 80's. This bell has a metla ring for hanging. It measures about 3 inches tall to the ring and 7-1/2 inches in diameter at the ruffled rim. The glass rings like a bell when tapped. It is translucent not opaque. It is in excellent condition with no chips, flakes or cracks. Shipping includes insurance. (BRNCRT-5-18)
