This is a beautiful Master Salt in the O'Hara Diamond pattern made by O'Hara Glass Co. of Pittsburgh, PA. circa 1885. The pattern was continued by The United States Glass Co. after their merger of 1891. They issued the new name of US Glass No. 15,001. The pattern is also known as Sawtooth and Star, and as Ruby Star when ruby stained. This master salt bowl is 2 inches tall to the scalloped rim and 3-1/2 inches in diameter. The foot is 2-1/2 inches in diameter. The glass is crystal clear. There may be some bubbles and straw marks but there are no chips, flakes or cracks. Shipping includes insurance. (B20-CV1/DR-G-E)
