This is a beautiful milk pitcher in the Block and Circle pattern. It is made of flint glass and has an acid etch patent date of 1865 just below the handle. This patent is actually for the pressing of the handle onto the vessel. The handle on this piece however, has been damaged and where it attaches to the top it is cracked. This is still a beautiful cabinet piece and it is priced accordingly. This milk pitcher is 6-1/2 inches tall at the spout and is 6 inches long from spout to end of the handle. The bulbous body is 5 inches in diameter at the widest point. The foot ring is 3-1/2 inches in diameter and shows a good deal of wear. There may be some bubbles and straw marks but there are no other chips, flakes or cracks. Shipping includes insurance. (DRT-C-XX91-G/E)
