A lovely clear Early American Pattern Glass compote in the Pressed Diamond pattern made by both Central Glass Co. c. 1885 and United States Glass Co. c. 1891. This pattern is also known as Block and Diamond and Zephyr. Compote measures approximately 6" tall with an 8 1/2" top diameter. There is a small chip on one of the high points of the diamond pattern, some microscopic nicks here and there and a couple of tiny chips on the inner base rim; all minor and inconspicuous. This piece sparkles beautifully!
