This is an amazing archetectural tile. It was bought in England many years ago so we think it is English but may not be. It is a very heavy solid piece of clay. The thickness is almost 2" and high points. The condition is very good for the age given it was used in archetecural setting, please see image.There are scuffs and dings to high areas but not surprizing given how high the relief is. It is an amazing piece of clay. The decorative value with Snake and Eagle is unsurpassed. This is a one of a kind & I think a real prize.
