It comes with an ornate clam style bowl. This piece may have had a monogram on it that appears to have been removed. It is in overall good condition.
The William B. Durgin Co. was founded in 1853 in Concord, New Hampshire. It was later purchased by the Gorham Mfg. Co. in 1905. In 1931 the manufacturing operations were moved to Providence, Rhode Island.
