A large and heavy solid Sterling Silver ice cream server made in the lovely Madame Royale pattern by Durgin, c. 1897. This beautiful serving piece meausres 10 5/8" long and about 3 3/8" at it widest part. Weighs approximately 5.47 troy ounces. Has a monogram. Marked with the Durgin hallmark, Sterling and Bigelow Kennard & Co. A very fine Madame Royale ice cream server and very elegant; has a beautifully detailed floral pattern going into the bowl. (#152)
