Duo Blue & Red Antique Stained Glass
This Duo Blue & Red Antique Stained Glass Window combines two vibrant shades of blue with a touch of radiant red to create a curvaceous design, that looks like a stylized heart or even a balloon. This unique pattern is surrounded by heavily textured glass so its ideal for any setting, indoors or outdoors, since it allows plenty of light to shine through while still maintaining a sense of privacy. This historic piece of architectural art is a by- product of urban renewal in Great Britain. Older buildings are being demolished or restored so the magnificent windows that once graced these homes are either being removed or replaced with newer more energy efficient windows. This vintage glass piece is in good condition, and does not have any chips, however there are two tiny hairline cracks in the darker blue glass. The window is hand leaded with the lead complete, structurally sound, and in the original wooden frame that still has some of the old paint still on it and definitely has appropriate wear for its age.
