Driftwood Casual Amber Water Goblet by Seneca Glass. Seneca Glass Company operated from 1891 to 1983, the factory they operated out of was originally built by Fostoria Glass, they later moved to a new factory along the Monogahela River. This new factory was close to the Morgantown Glass Works and Beaumont Glass. This led to the three companies borrowing designs from one another and at times making or decorating glass for each other. The full name Driftwood Casual is often shortened to Driftwood. Seneca's original Driftwood line #1952 had a somewhat different design, but it's still recognizable as Driftwood. The major distinguishing feature is that original Driftwood had perfectly round bases.
This line was made in many different colors, this tumbler is officially named Amber, this color was was produced from the 1960's to 1983. This line of glass is often referred to as Crinkle or Wrinkle glass. It is 5 1/2 inches tall, 3 1/4 inches across the mouth and holds 13 ounces, in excellent condition.
