A VERY significant double Tea Caddy constructed of rare BLOND tortoiseshell. Quite large for the Georgian period it features the traditional tent-top octagonal design of favored during this time Exceptional condition throughout. This one sports two compartments with matching blond tortoiseshell lids with think ivory stringing and ivory knobs. It still retains the original red silk lining on the main lid's interior as well as the green velvet on the bottom.
