This is a nice clean steel caliper that has a metric graduations indicating scale on the brass radial plate. The pivot joint is snug, the spring load works just fine, the indicator needle is at 0 when the caliper is closed. This gage measures 6.5" long overall. The jaw tip width is .062", and is about .035" wide at the tips where the radius ends. It is marked "DIXON NO. 1 MADE IN U.S.A. 1/5. A hard to find small parts (like for clocks and watches) caliper with an indicating measurement scale. Capacity from 0 to 15 mm.
