Directoire Style Bronze Marble Gueridon

Unavailable
This French Directoire gueridon table crafted from solid bronze and steel is an exceptional reproduction. It measures 27" across and 29" high (68.5 by 73.75 cm). It features a reticulated gallery with acanthus leaf motif and variegated marble top in charcoal grey to black with streaks of white. The frieze is decorated with patera and cross hatch steel strips decorated with rosettes. Three bronze legs are connected via stretcher to a center pedestal. We believe this table dates from the early to mid-twentieth century. Condition is excellent. There are no damages or repairs and some light rust on the steel on the frieze, consistent with age. This item resides in our client's gallery on the Upper East Side of Manhattan ( New York City ) and may be seen by appointment. Thanks for visiting.
