This is a gorgeous French Victorian style loveseat that probably dates from the 1930s, and is outstanding. Someone has reupholstered it in a silvery blue brocade multi-color floral design fabric that looks lovely against the pecan wood or brown mahogany carved frame. There are all kinds of serpentine around the fronts, cabriole legs, carved flowers, and detailed carved hummingbirds in back. The upholstery work is stunning, and is all buttoned and pleated. We have a matching wingback chair that was upholstered in a very similar fabric to this loveseat, if it is still available, please check our other listings. The overall size of the loveseat is 56 inches wide, 30 inches deep because of the curve of the back and seat, 36 inches high to the crest on the back of the seat, and 19 inches to the seat cushion.
